DAY 1 – USA / ATHENS: Departure on your overnight flight to Athens.
DAY 2 – ATHENS: Arrival today at the Athens International Airport where you will be met, assisted
through Customs and baggage claim formalities. Transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure.

ACROPOLIS IN ANCIENT TIMES
DAY 3 – ATHENS: After breakfast at the hotel depart on an Athens city tour, which will introduce you to the
most important sites of the city. Visit the famed Acropolis with its dominating view, and the site of the
renowned Parthenon, one of the most impressive structures in the world. Continue to the Acropolis Museum.
Balance of the day at leisure. This afternoon you might tour the Greece Archeological Museum. It is one of
the best in the world. Wander through gallery after gallery and be amazed by these magnificent artifacts. (B)

DAYS 5 & 6 – SANTORINI: Days at leisure to enjoy this distinctive island. Santorini, also known as the Island
of Atlantis, has excavations at Akrotiri, a dormant volcano and sandy beaches. You may enjoy relaxing at
the beach and then taking in the sights and sounds of the nightlife in town. (B)

DAY 7 – SANTORINI / CRETE: Transfer from your hotel to the port for the sea transportation to Crete.

DAY 11 – RHODES: Rhodes, the Island of the Roses, is the largest and most popular of the Dodecanese
islands. Explore the Old City, in which the crusading Knights of St. John built their castle, still standing in
excellent condition today. Or visit Lindos, its ancient Acropolis and the inviting white-sanded beach below. (B)
DAY 12 – RHODES: At leisure. At night, the new section of the city is filled with the sounds of Greek folk
music, mixed with the modern tunes from the discos and the nightclubs. (B)
DAY 13 – RHODES / ATHENS: Today you will fly to Athens, where you will be met and transferred to your
hotel. Time at leisure to relax, or you may choose to visit the center of Athens for last minute sightseeing
and shopping. (B)
DAY 14 – ATHENS / DEPARTURE: Transfer to the airport for your departing flight. (B)
