DAY 1 We arrive in Athens are met and transfer to our hotel. You are in the center of Athens. Take a stroll and
become acquainted with the Greek people.

DAY 2 Today we tour Athens beginning with the Acropolis precinct. We ascend to the top and stand on the "sacred rock",
as it was called by the ancient Greeks. On the Acropolis are some of the most beautiful buildings and sculptures on the plateau.
 The most outstanding architectural structure is the Parthenon. It also functioned as the spiritual and financial center of Athens
 which then became the foundation of Western civilization.

This afternoon there is an optional tour of the Athens National Museum with its fantastic collection of artifacts. Stroll through gallery after gallery.

DAY 3 We sail to Myconos and check into the hotel. You have three days to explore and take advantage of all this
beautiful island  has to offer. It looks just like the postcards: white houses, flowers,  restaurants and
cafes with wonderful food.  Bed and breakfast

 

MYKONOS, GREECE

 

This is an island of beautiful beaches. There are water sports, scuba diving, horseback riding, hiking, sightseeing, and nightlife.
There are magnificent Greek and international restaurants serving delicious food. .Shops are everywhere, souvenirs abound.
The town of Chora should be seen, with its harbor, museums, and archeological sites. A trip to Delos Island the holiest island
of ancient Greece is a must. There are many archaeological sites.

DAY 6  Today we sail to Paros. We check into our hotel. You have three days to explore all this
beautiful isle has to offer. Paros is one of the Cyclades islands, and is a traditional Greek island.
Paros is known for nightlife, beaches, and many interesting sites. Bed and breakfast

DAY 9 Today we sail to Naxos We check into our hotel. You have three days to explore all this
beautiful isle has to offer. Naxos is one of the Cyclades islands, and is a traditional Greek island.
There are many many historical sites to see on the island, from ancient temples to castles, churches,
monasteries and statures. Bed and breakfast

DAY 12 Today we sail to Ios. We check into our hotel. You have two days to explore all this beautiful isle has to offer.
Ios is one of the Cyclades islands, and is a traditional Greek island. bed and breakfast

The  tomb of Homer, is here, as well as the Monastery of St. John.

Beaches abound with  water sports,  This is a true vacation island.

DAY 14 We check out of the hotel and sail to Santorini also known as Thira. We check into our hotel.
You have three days to explore all this beautiful isle has to offer. This is the magical island of Greece.
Barren and rocky island its volcano has given it black and red beaches The town situated on high cliffs
offer spectacular views and magical sunsets. Bed and breakfast

SANTORINI GREECE

The island has fine beaches  The towns on the cliffs, which are very beautiful and full of little cafes, serving
 traditional Greeks food to international gourmet dinners. Shops abound, Selling most everything.

A must see is Akrotiri the ancient town buried in the volcano eruption 3500 years ago.

ANCIENT AKROTIRI, SANTORINI

DAY 17 Today we sail to Heraklion, Crete and check into our hotel. You have three days on this island.
The rest of the day is free. Bed and breakfast

This is the largest island in Greece, and because of its size and the fact that it is far away from the
mainland, it is quite different from the rest of the country. People refer to themselves as Cretan, not Greek.

Crete has everything: The entire island is a beautiful mix of forest, flowers, beautiful beaches and happy people.
Rent a car and just drive. .Enjoy the hidden villages, big cities, snow-clad mountains, archaeological sites,
medieval fortresses, museums and beautiful surroundings. You'll find shops all over the island. If you go to the
more secluded villages, you'll be able to find locally handmade ceramics, textiles and much more.
Depending on your preference, you can stay in a town, a village, or a combination of the two.
Chania is the usual destination because it is very comfortable, houses the archaeological museum,
and you can get almost anything here: international food and good hotels. Iraklio is the capital of the
island and there is much to see The archaeological museum and the famed site of Knossos is just
outside the town. This was the center of the Minoan Civilization, the court of king Minos and where
the Minotaur was kept in the famous labyrinth.

 DAY 20 This morning we transfer to the airport for our flight to Athens and connect with your
international flight home. Breakfast..
