DAY 1 Arrive in Athens where we are met and transfer to our hotel. You are in the heart of Athens. Take a stroll and
introduce yourself to the Greek Culture.  

DAY 2 Today we tour Athens beginning with  a sightseeing tour of the city. Our expert guide will take you to the center
of the city to see Constitutions Square, House of Parliament, Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Presidential Palace
and The National Library. On the way to the Acropolois you will see Hadrian's Arch, the Temple of Zeus and the Panathenaic
Stadium where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896. On the Acropolis precinct. The outstanding
architectural structure on the Acropolis is the Parthenon, it is breathtaking. Next we visit the Erechtheion, famous for its porch
We visit the Temple of Athene Nike and the Propalae or gate, built in the facade of a temple and the
Acropolis Museum. We take the time to slowly stroll around the Acropolis.

After lunch there is an optional tour of the Athens National Museum with its fantastic collection of artifacts. Stroll through
gallery after gallery. Take your time. Bed and Breakfast

DAY 3
 Today we begin our four day classical tour. We drive and tour Mycenae known in history as the legendary home of King Agamemnon who led the Greeks in the Trojan War. Next we drive to and tour Epidaurus, famed for its magnificent ampatheater. We tour this architectural wonder with acrostics that are equal to any modern symphony or opera house. No matter where you stand you can hear the slightest sound on the stage. We continue through the Peloponese and check into our hotel in Olympia  The evening is  free. Enjoy the town with its many attractions.  B&B

Day 4 -  After breakfast we tour Olympia, home of the Olympic Games and one of the best preserved sites in Greece. Later we drive through the plains of Greece cross the Corinthian Bay and arrive in Delphi where we check into our  hotel. The evening is free. Enjoy the town with its many shops and places of interest. B&B

Day 5 -  Today we tour one of the greatest sites in ancient antiquity, Delphi. with its magnificent museum. This was the home of the famed oracle. We will visit the Agora (market place),  Treasury of the Athenians, Temple of Apollo, and the Roman Theater.  Later we proceed to Kalambaka, just outside the Meteora Monasteries, driving through Central Greece. We arrive and check into our hotel. The evening is free. Enjoy the town. B&B

DAY 6 Today we tour the Meteora Monasteries, among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless monasteries, where you can see exquisite examples of Byzantine art. Later we return to Athens and our hotel in the early evening. The rest of the evening is free. B&B.

DAY 7  Today we enjoy a cruise in the Sardonic Gulf. We visit the islands of Hydra, Ploros, and Aegena. We sail to Hydra
famous as the artist's island. We re-board the ship,  and sail to Poros, known for its immaculate beaches. We sail to Aegina,
and tour the Temple Of Aphaia. We return to Athens and our hotel.  The evening is free. B&B

DAY  8  ATHENS Free day to enjoy Athens on your own. We can make suggestions. B&B.

DAY 9  After breakfast we transfer to the airport for our to Cairo. We arrive in Cairo are met and transfer to the hotel.. B&B

DAY 10 CAIRO
 
This morning we slowly explore the ancient treasures of Egypt at the Egyptian Museum. Look at the golden
riches from the tomb of King Tutankamen and the priceless masterpieces of the Pharaohs. Next we leisurely tour the Sphinx, and the
Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure  At the end of the tour we will dine a a luxurious traditional restaurant in Cairo.
After our meal, we willl explore the Khan -El Khalili Bazaar the oldest bazaar in Egypt. It is great for bargain shopping.
Return to the hotel. The evening free. (Bed and Breakfast)

DAY 11 CAIRO Our day begins with a tour of Islamic Cairo. We tour the Citadel which was the mightiest castle during he early Islamic
era. It contains what many claim is the most beautiful mosque in Egypt.  Next we explore Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt.
We continue to the Saqqara Necropolis. Here we explore the Step Pyramid the first pyramid ever built. Next we lunch in a luxury restaurant and transfer to the airport for our flight to Aswan. B&B.

DAY 12 ASWAN This morning we  tour Philae Temple one of
the most beautiful preserved temples in Egypt. After our tour of Philae we board our cruise ship We relax as we sail along the Nile toward
our first stop, the Temple of Kom Ombe, dedicated to the crocodile God. We tour Kom Ombo and sail to Edfu where we dock for the
night. Enjoy the lounge and gayety of the ship. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

DAY 13 EDFU After breakfast we tur the well preserved Edfu Temple, dedicated Horus the hawk god of the sun. This is one of the larger
a best engineered temples in Egypt. Marvel at its construction. Relax as we sail along the calm Nile toward Luxor. In the late afternoon we
arrive at Luxor and dock. The evening is free. There is much to do we can make suggestions. Perhaps a stroll through the Luxor Bazaar or
the sound and light show at Karnak Temple. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

DAY 14 LUXOR  This morning we tour the West Bank, visiting the Ancient City of Thebes, known as the city of the dead. We tour
the monuments from the New Kingdom. We explore the Colossi of Memnon, two large statues that is all that remains of the Temple of
Amenhotep 111. Next we tour the Temple of Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh of Egypt. We proceed to tour the Valley of the Kings.
Gaze at the golden coffin of King Tut. Return to the ship. B&B

DAY 15  After breakfast we transfer to the Luxor airport for our flight to Athens. B
