Day 1 - Transfer from the airport to our hotel
 
Day 2 -Full day of sightseeing. First a tour of the city with Constitution square, house of Parliament, memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the National Library, and the Presidential Palace. Next you visit Hadrian" Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896. Next we tour the Acropolis precinct. We will visit the famed Parthenon, the Erechtheion, The Temple of Athene Nike, The Propylaia, or gate constructed as a facade in temple form and the Acropolis museum. Next we visit the Athens National Museum with its fantastic collection of artifacts. After a full day we return to the hotel. Bed and Breakfast

Day 3 - After breakfast we drive to Corinth. We leisurely tour the Roman Forum,  the Angora (ancient market), the Roman Theater, the Temple of Apollo, This is the city where Saint Paul preached. We return to Athens and the hotel. The evening is free. B&B.

DAY 4  Today we begin our four day classical tour. We drive and tour Mycenae known in history as the legendary home of King Agamemnon who led the Greeks in the Trojan War. Next we drive to and tour Epidaurus, famed for its magnificent ampatheater. We tour this architectural wonder with acrostics that are equal to any modern symphony or opera house. No matter where you stand you can hear the slightest sound on the stage. We continue through the Peloponese and check into our hotel in Olympia  The evening is  free. Enjoy the town with its many attractions.  B&B

 

Day 5 -  After breakfast we our Olympia, home of the Olympic Games and one of the best preserved sites in Greece. Later we drive through the plains of Greece cross the Corinthian Bay and arrive in Delphi where we check into our  hotel. The evening is free. Enjoy the town with its many shops and places of interest. B&B

Day 6 -  Today we tour one of the greatest sites in ancient antiquity, Delphi. with its magnificent museum. This was the home of the famed oracle. We will visit the Agora (market place),  Treasury of the Athenians, Temple of Apollo, and the Roman Theater.  Later we proceed to Kalambaka, just outside the Meteora Monasteries, driving through Central Greece. We arrive and check into our hotel. The evening is free. Enjoy the town. B&B

DAY 7 Today we tour the Meteora Monasteries, among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless monasteries, where you can see exquisite examples of Byzantine art. Later we return to Athens and our hotel in the early evening. The rest of the evening is free. B&B.

Day 8 - Free day in Athens for you to enjoy at your leisure. There is much to see. We can make suggestions. You might go to one of  the famous shopping streets of Athens for some shopping. B&B
 

Day 9 - This morning we take an early flight to Thessaloniki. We drive to and tour Vergina. We visit the museum that
contains many artifacts from the reign of Phillip II and Alexander the Great. We tour the royal graves, Later we tour the palace of the Macedonian Kings. We drive back to to Thessaloniki for our return flight to Athens and our hotel. B&B

Day 10 - This morning we transfer to the Athens International Airport for out flight home. B
